Foundation Pier

A building's foundation can suffer serious damage from a variety of soil changes around the structure. Seasonal changes, like heavy rains or drought, inadequate drainage or shifting clay soils can all have a devastating effect. Basement Systems Calgary offers a permanent solution to get your structure back on solid ground — steel tubes are hydraulically driven into the ground and mounted to the foundation with tough steel brackets. These foundation piers transfer the weight of a building away from the unstable soils and down to bedrock or load bearing earth.

Wall Anchor

Most buckling foundation walls can be repaired without the awful expense of excavation and rebuilding the entire wall. No matter what is causing the bowing or cracking, the problem should be addressed to protect a homeowner's investment, but it doesn't have to be a huge ordeal. The foundation wall anchor we use is almost surgical in its precision — minimum excavation and almost always done in less than a day. Since the wall isn't rebuilt, your home and lawn are left virtually the same as when our installation crew arrived.

Helical Pier

When unstable soils jeopardize a building's structural integrity, the best solution is often to transfer the building's weight to lower, more stable load bearing strata. Helical piers are screwed into the ground to transfer loads to those lower and more suitable foundation soils, significantly reducing settlement.
