I have been working at DLBS since June 2022. I enjoy working here because every home I inspect is a new challenge- no two are alike! I also think working for a family-run company is great! Every day I inspect our customers homes to ensure they are aware of any issues, and then help them provide solutions to meet their goals. 

It is hard to choose only one most memorable moment working at DLBS because I am always amazed at the way our production team rises to the challenge of the work they do.

One of my top memories is probably helping this customer in SW Calgary who's home had sunk by a couple of inches. When our crew opened the floor to begin the repairs, they found a massive sinkhole almost 2 feet deep! We are lucky to have found the sinkhole before it was too late; if we hadn't, their home may have been unrepairable. 

Another project I loved being a part of was this dark, smelly crawlspace near the University of Calgary that had such a big transformation. Our team did such a great job encapsulating and insulating it that it was practically eligible to list on Airbnb! I love how our team transforms spaces. It never stops amazing me. 

Outside of work I am a bit of a dabbler- I like to try all sorts of different things. However, some constants in my life are: eating wonderful foods and trying to recreate recipes (while using my family as testers), reading great books, writing, and being a perpetual beginner at classical guitar.
