Looking Back on the 2013 Floods
5 years ago a natural disaster took place. Devastation reined over as loads of water tore down homes, buildings, businesses and more. A lot of individuals and families were greatly impacted. Many families’ homes were demolished and there was nothing anyone could do to prevent the damage from happening. Everyone had to wait it out until it was over to try to somehow rebuild.
Although Doug Lacey’s Basement Systems could not prevent this amount of flooding and water tearing through windows and destroying homes, we did our best after the fact to help re-build and bring joy to families who were affected.
With that being said the Basement Systems team wanted to give back so we worked with our local radio station Jack 96.9 and put together a contest to give away a $20,000 basement renovation!
A family in need from High River was fortunate enough to win this prize and got their basement fixed up again!
