This is the before of the basement. The Sump Pump will go in the closet.
The Sump Pump
This is the installed Sump Pump with the UltraSump battery backup system. This system will turn on automatically if the power were to go out or if the primary pump fails to run for some other reason. It also has an alarm that will warn you if you begin using the back-up system so you can restore the power on the primary pump.
The discharge line
This discharge line will carry water from the sump pump, outside to prevent basement flooding.
Exterior discharge line with an ice guard
This is where the water will exit the sump pump. The ice guard will ensure that if the discharge line gets clogged, or inevitable freezes because its outside, the sump pump will still work to its fullest potential
