Basement Systems Calgary Achieves 3yr COR

Calgary, Alberta, February 10, 2021 – Since starting operation in 1992, our owner of Basement Systems Calgary has always believed in the value of a safe work environment. As we start into 2021, we are proud to announce that we have been designated with a Certificate of Recognition (COR) for the 18^th year in a row!

This occupational health and safety accreditation program is awarded to companies who develop and implement a health & safety management system that meets established standards that are set by the Occupational Health & Safety department of the Government of Alberta.

For a company that does not require this accreditation to function, it speaks to the character of its owner and management for wanting this endorsement in its day-to-day operations. The safety of everyone associated with Basement Systems Calgary, from office staff, production & service teams to our customers are of the utmost importance.

What is COR?

A COR shows that the employer’s health and safety management system has been evaluated by a certified auditor, is fully implemented, and meets national standards. These standards are established by Occupational Health and Safety.

To get a COR, your business must first have a health and safety management system in place, and then have it successfully audited through a Certifying Partner.

If your business passes the audit, the Certifying Partner will jointly issue a COR with the Government of Alberta.
