Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing in Brooks AB
This customer came to us because they had water in the basement of their home in Brooks AB. After debating for a while as to whether they should waterproof from the inside or the outside, they ultimately decided to go with interior waterproofing. They decided this because it is the cheaper and easier option, but it will give the same results. Our design specialist recommended a TripleSafe™ sump pump. This sump pump includes an M53 pump, a 2-part air tight lid and a WaterWatch® alarm, with an IceGuard® add-on. He also recommended a waterguard below-floor drainage system to direct water towards the sump pump. The WaterGuard® is our most popular below floor drain because of its resistance to clogs, its easy-to-access service ports, and its ability to also collect leaking water from the basement walls. Lastly, our design specialist recommended a CleanSpace® vapor barrier. This is a 100% waterproof plastic vapor barrier with a 25-year warranty for wear and tear, it's durable, washable, and has anti-microbial protection called UltraFresh built right in! This customer agreed with our design specialist and went through with all the recommendations. In no time their basement was waterproofed and they have peace of mind for many years to come!
