I started off the questionnaire the same as everyone else’ with:

What Department do you work in?

“Sales" Eric is one of our System Design Specialists, he is one of the first faces our homeowners see and he does a full inspection of the home and designs the scope of work that is needed.

How many homes/customers do you interact with on average a day?

"I am currently seeing 2-4 homes a day and interacting with anywhere between 5-10 customers per day with foundation issues.  Existing customers, realtors and engineers are who I try to reach out weekly."

What is your favorite product or service that we offer to help homeowners?

“I enjoy seeing a leaking basement get fixed. If you have ever seen a family have to move everything out of a basement, including kids, to only deal with mold and dealing with the water coming in, it is a very unfortunate site. Knowing we have lifetime warranty’s behind a lot of our waterproofing products makes fixing these basements a true joy.” 

What is one of the weirdest homes you have had to help?

“One of the most unique homes I have had to help was a house that was filled with black mold in the basement to a point where personal belongings were stuck to the wall. The wife living upstairs had breathing issues and was very ill at the time and had been for years before they had called us. We had to push all of their personal belongings into the center of the basement so we had just enough room to create a 3 ft alley way around the perimeter to fix the seepage issue and prevent anymore water into the basement. From dealing with mold, to moving a full basement of items to trying to work in a tight knit space, this is one of the basements that comes to mind."

What home did you help that gave you the greatest joy or pride after?

"I have fixed many farm houses where the grandfather has built the house and they don’t want to knock the place over thinking that was there only option. To provide these families with a solution and product where we can fix the foundation or put up a new foundation without anyone having to leave the house brings a great deal of joy to the career I am in.  A lot of these families like to see their homes last for years and pass them down to other generations and I take great pride in helping them achieve this.”
