Radon Gas Mitigation Photo Album: Radon installation Inside and out
Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that has become the second-leading cause of lung cancer -- second only to cigarette smoke. Most soils contain uranium that, overtime, decays to produce radium and polonium. Eventually, polonium is released with the radon, which creates a high toxicity level in the air and water that it infuses. Radon is completely undetectable with any human sense.
Luckily, Doug Lacey's Basement Systems is a member of the National Radon Defense network of radon mitigation experts and we are here to help!

If you get your radon levels tested and find that your levels are unsafe, this is was your mitigation system will look like inside your home

The radon needs somewhere to go once it enters the mitigation system, so a discharge line is installed and it will direct all the unhealthy gasses outside of your home, keeping you and your family safe!
